MTG rocks The Barties!

At the first annual Bartell Theatre Awards last weekend, MTG came away with eight awards, recognizing many of MTG's casts, crews, and productions. The Best Drama award was a tie...and both were MTG shows!

Bartell Help Needed

Image credit: Steve ChappellThe Bartell Theatre, 113 E. Mifflin Street, is a cooperative, operated jointly by its resident theatre companies. MTG is one of them. What this means is that all the resident companies have to pitch in now and again to work on the maintenance of the Bartell itself. Currently, a series of work days -- principally to repair the Bartell's lighting equipment, but also to take care of other routine maintenance, such as painting -- is being planned.

To help you need no special knowledge or experience. If you know nothing about lighting equipment, training sessions will be provided at the beginning of each work day. (So if you need training, please do make sure you arrive at the start of the work day.)

We are planning work days at the following times:

  • Sunday, July 11, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Monday, July 12, through Friday, July 16, 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM
